Good News in New York

A team of students from SEBTS led by George Robinson (and including my son Josh) is in NYC this week with the Gallery Church, a plant of Highview Baptist in Louisville, Summit Church in RDU, and others. I flew in for a night to enjoy worship and some fellowship with pastors Aaron Coe and Freddy Wyatt as well as the team. It was great to see my friend Amy Avant Watson and finally to meet her husband Matt. Watching a couple of young adults baptized, and seeing the wonder on their faces, reminded me of the Jesus Movement back in my youth.

The worship and the people were fresh, genuine, and unpretentious. You can read more about this trip at the SEBTS page.
