Nice Comment about The Convergent Church

Winfield Bevins planted the Church at Outer Banks a few years ago, an Acts 29 church already planting others. He is also a DMin student at SEBTS. Here is a kind response he wrote regarding the book Convergent Church: Missional Worship in an Emerging Culture by Mark Liederbach and me:

“Wow, I finally found a book that articulates what we are doing as a church. We are a convergent church! Thank you for taking the time to write this important work. For a long time I haven’t felt at home anywhere. I am thankful that God has led me back to the church through the SBC and Acts 29. They both represent for me the convergence that you are writing about.”

This is what we hope to do, to help the many who are somewhere between an institutional religion and newer attempts at presenting the gospen682781919_8980
