Acts 29 Boot Camp in Raleigh

I am convinced more than ever that the effective evangelization of the West in our day must be tied closely to church planting. One of the best networks for church planting is Acts 29. I have had the honor of speaking at a Boot Camp in the past and found it to be a remarkable opportunity to mingle with passionate Christ-followers who want to take the gospel through church planting to the lost, especially in the cities.

The Boot Camp is February 4-5, just before the 20/20 Collegiate Conference at SEBTS. It will be held at Vintage21 Church. Lead Pastor Tyler Jones, who just wrote a very kind endorsement of my new book, asked me to spread that word and I am happy to do so! Here is the down-low:

Acts 29 Boot Camps are a mini-conference designed to identify qualified church planters. The content is incredible at helping you clarify your call to church planting. If you are a potential church planter, this is the conference for you.

The speakers for this Boot Camp include:
Mark Driscoll – Preaching Pastor, Mars Hill Church, Seattle, WA
Dr. Wayne Grudem: Author and Theologian
Dr. Danny Akin – Southeastern Baptist College & Seminary President
Dr Andreas Kostenberger – Professor & Author
Tyler Jones – Lead Pastor Vintage21, Raleigh, NC
Jamie Munson – Lead Pastor, Mars Hill Church, Seattle, WA
Scott Thomas – Pastor for Church Planting, Mars Hill Church, Seattle, WA
Daniel Montgomery – Lead Pastor, Sojourn Church, Louisville, KY
If you are already a church planter and are in years 1-5 we’re excited because we adding an additional track that will make it exceedingly practical and helpful for you to come to the Boot Camp as well. Track 2 is going to offer specific, in-depth instruction and training that is not being offered anywhere else. These sessions will be led by pastors who have labored in their church plants and who will share their expertise as a result of walking through the struggles that every church planter faces. In addition to the main sessions of Track 2, planters will work closely with other planters in coaching triads, pushing each other to think deeply about the direction that God is leading their churches and to ensure long-term implementation. Also, planters in Track 2 will have an unbelievable opportunity to engage Pastor Mark Driscoll and Dr. Wayne Grudem in two working lunches. If you are a planter in years 1-5, attending Track 2 will be one of the most beneficial, effective things you can do for your ministry.
