Outreach Awards recognize Kregel Publications titles
I found out this week my most recent book, Join the Movement, has been named a finalist for Outreach Magazine’s Resource of the Year in the youth outreach category. I am grateful that my efforts to challenge and encourage youth to live for Jesus has been so recognized. The true award, of course, is in the lives of those who advance the movement of God around the world. Here is the press release from Kregel:

Outreach Magazine announced the finalists for their Outreach Resource Awards in February of this year. This is the fifth year that the magazine has sponsored theses awards, and this year’s finalists included two titles from Kregel Publications—Join the Movement: God Is Calling You to Change the World by Alvin L. Reid (Kregel 2007) in the Youth Outreach category, and A Heart for Africa: Rosemary Jensen and the Story of Rafiki by Annie Jensen (Kregel 2007) in the Global Outreach category.Outreach Media Editor Tamara Rice said, “These resources represent the innovation and excellence church leaders today are seeking in ministry resources.
